Two laundry hampers exist in this house. One for clean clothes and the other for dirty laundry. The dirty laundry basket, made from hemp, started coming apart some months ago. The bottom is hanging on to the rest of the basket which doesn’t seem to want anything to do with the bottom.
I thought long and hard about how to fix it but I don’t have the requisite skills.
So I bought another hamper – exactly like the one I have for clean clothes.
In order to tell them apart, I painted one with bubbles. The colour I was going for was opera pink. That didn’t really happen but the colour that came about made me happy .
I can’t help but smile when I look at it.
The bright bubbles pop-pop-popping their way to the top!
