bloomin’ blooms

I take a lot of photos and hold on to them for years. I always tell myself, You never know. It might come in useful one day.

The most innocuous images can be curated into an interesting collection of things. Just today, I was going through my images when I noticed I had a few images of mould and algae. I was struck by how beautiful they were. Their colours are intense, with so much depth.

I love how algae can sometimes look like a marigold flower or fireworks.

    Intense and small and beautiful.

I do the same, I look for the most ignored, little things outdoors. There’s so much beauty everywhere if only we would stop and look, and enjoy and share.
