Hi, Friend,
I do so hope you’re well.
Today I think Garfield was right to hate Mondays. Today I feel like Mondays should drop out of the week. But then Tuesdays would become Mondays and I don’t want to hate Tuesday too.
For the past few days I’ve been hearing from a few of my paying subscribers that they can’t log into my blog to read the posts.
Why?
Well, there appears to be no Log In button.
I checked and re-checked my settings. Dozens of times. Still the same result.
Then today someone told me how to fix it. Shout out to them for making my Monday better.
It’s all in the cookies.

Cookies are dropped from websites and they accumulate in our devices. A cookie purge is good practice every now and then.
When the internet works, it’s great. When it doesn’t, we all get frustrated and upset — users, and those working behind the scenes on those sites.
When we buy something that doesn’t fit or that we don’t like, we spend the time to take that item back and we think nothing about the effort or time it takes.
When a website doesn’t work, unsubscribing is just the easiest thing to do. I don’t blame anyone who feels this way, especially since there is so much content out there to choose from.
People who maintain blogs or websites must take much more care to make the experience easy and seamless for the user — or whoops, that user just cancels and goes away.
But before you drift away from a website you enjoy or pull the plug on a blog you subscribe to because things are acting weird or have become sticky, try this.
For Apple devices:
- Go to Settings.
- Find Safari (or whichever browser you use)
- Scroll down to the bottom.
- Click on Advanced
- Top field should now say Website Data – click that
- Click on Remove All Website Data
For Android devices, this link might prove helpful in giving guidance in clearing your cookies.
They do a pretty good job (with visual aids) to make it easy to follow.
I hope this helps.
Send me a note to say if it works …. or not.
Take good care.
