Hi Visitor,
Happy ‘almost’ summer!
I wanted to share with you another little kitchen hydroponics time-lapse I made with my old iPhone.
Growing certain things in your kitchen is so easy. Green onions, for instance, beg to be grown in water. The moment their roots touch water they start pushing upwards.
I started them in a little water, then after two and a half days, I planted them in my herb planter outside. They will keep producing for weeks and are very tolerant to heat.
They honestly are the easiest things to grow. Old plastic (cottage cheese or yogurt) containers will do the trick nicely if there is no garden space. Poking a few holes at the bottom for drainage helps with preventing root rot.
Think how nice it will be to go outside and snip a few of these to garnish your meal. 🙂
